About Starlink
Starlink is a satellite internet service operated by SpaceX, Elon Musk's aerospace company. Unlike traditional geostationary satellites, Starlink uses a constellation of thousands of low-earth orbit (LEO) satellites to deliver internet with significantly lower latency and higher speeds than conventional satellite broadband. Starlink launched in Australia in 2021 and has been rapidly adopted by rural and remote customers who previously had no access to fast broadband.
